Masai Mara Game Preserve, Kenya As a youngster, I sat weekly with my family around our 19" color TV to watch Marlin Perkins on The Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Every week, I longed to be riding along, seeing all these beasts and birds up close. This photo was taken from a distance of around 7 meters: so close, you could hear their breathing.
