Downtown from my hotel - 2 views

Most of the time we just drive through Richmond on the expressways.

In July of 1997, I had a training session for our district in Richmond. We stayed in the middle of the historic district, and I had a chance to see a little of Richmond. At least as much as I could see on foot outside of working hours.

I went and shopped in a toy store, and ate at a small micro-brewery near the hotel. I also went to the place across the street which was a former tobacco warehouse.

Gas 9.3 gallons @ $1.35/gallon
Toll in Richmond to get to the hotel $0.15
Dinner at the hotel $9.42 plus $1.00 tip
