York River Yacht Haven

York River Yacht Haven was $1.25 a foot plus electricity was $5.40. They had showers and laundry facilities and a pool. I never found the e-mail facilities. The store was mostly souvenier type stuff. We also got fuel there.

If you are feeling vigorous, you can walk about 2 miles to Yorktown. Or if not, the marina can arrange transportation for you.

Equipment: 335 open and covered boat slips, nationally recognized full-service repair facility. The Ship's Store is an on-site marine hardware store and provides: clothing, boat shoes, light snacks, drinks, ice, gifts, maps, cleaners, waxes, paint, etc. Special ordering for non-stock items and assistance with UPS shipping is available. The Ship's Store offers docking assistance and monitors VHF channel 16 daily. The Ship’s Store and Dockmaster’s office are open daily during daylight savings time from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during standard time. The Boatyard is open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Transients: All visiting boaters are to check-in and check-out in the Ship’s Store. Normal Check-in time is 12:00 p.m. and check-out is 1:00 p.m. unless other arrangements have been

The closest town to Sarah Creek is Gloucester Point, which is right across the bridge from Yorktown.
