Southall Landings Marina

Mile 189.0 - Southall Landings in Salt Ponds is the first marina as you enter Salt Ponds (on the right). Fixed docks. The manager, Jerry, is anxious to have cruisers and has a $0.85/ft rate for ICW people which includes electricity and water. He has an email line and ice, snacks, marine supplies, individual sex saunas (in the rest rooms), a pool, tennis courts and also offers a courtesy car.

If you want a restaurant though, you will have to go over to Salt Ponds Marina (you can dinghy or use the car). Approach is a little under 7 feet at low tide.

This is a gated community with single-family homes, condos and townhouses. The marina is very protected from storms. The entrance has just been dredged and boat traffic is not a problem.

Open Slips: 180 at $3.25/ft per month and up
Transient Slips: $.60-$1.00/ft per night

Docks are in good repair, finger piers, dockboxes allowed, located beside a scenic marsh with easy access to the Chesapeake Bay. There are also floating dinghy docks.

Bath/Shower facilities are located in development Clubhouse and are very nice.

The ships store has all types of boating supplies, fishing equipment, clothing, charts, snacks, soda, bait. Pool and tennis is available. Gas grill available and picnic tables. There is a restaurant nearby. The facilities are very nice and clean. The marina is very relaxing. Fun to dinghy ride around the area and to go to the beach.

Marina Staff
Marina staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to assist boaters. Docking assistance is available, pump out. Southall Landings Yacht Club has TGIF on the dock once a month.
