ICW along the Alligator River - no alligators

Alligator River

Marina from Alligator River
Cars on the bridge - photo sent by a friend
Because we stop on the Alligator River each time, I've used this location to put those stops, even though the actual stop is not in the refuge. The highway across the Alligator River is one of the major roads to get to the Outer Banks
Alligator Pungo Canal shore
The shores of the canal are loaded with dead trees and logs. These sometimes come adrift and cause damage to the running gear of the boats. Belhaven is often a forced stop to get repairs.

Pros:"Good place to get fuel, and cheap eats"
Cons:"No TV reception"
In A Nutshell:"One of the only marinas that is also a truck stop"

It's the Alligator River, not the Alligator Refuge. I didn't name the river
