Pines, dock and pipeline

Piney Point is a point of land covered by pines that extends toward the Potomac just upstream of St. George's Island. On this point was build a lighthouse (above)

Piney Point is a river-front community. The other item of note is the old Stewart Petroleum plant where barges of gasoline are brought in and loaded and unloaded.
