"For the Horsey Set" Fair Hill by grandmaR

Fair Hill Travel Guide: 3 reviews and 10 photos

For many years, my children participated in Pony Club, and the Maryland pony clubs held their annual combined training rallies at Fair Hill. We would drive up with a trailer load of horses, and then the children would do all the work, and all I had to do was to judge a cross country fence, or help keep score. There was also a turf track there and usually we were housed in the jockey barn, sleeping on the floor or on cots in sleeping bags. After the children were gone, I still occasionally went to Fair Hill to judge a combined training event or to take photos of the competitors on course.
