Columbia is a planned community in Howard County MD. My daughter lived there before she moved to TX in 2003. Top picture was taken in the winter to show the repaired concrete in the driveway after there was a pipe break which meant the driveway had to be taken up. (I cropped that part out of this picture)

The picture of the cat door was taken in July.

This is the cat that uses the cat door sitting at the storm door in front in the spring.

The fact that there is a planned community means that there are some restrictions on what can be done - no fences are allowed in front yards, no toys can be left in the driveway, only certain colors are appropriate etc. They didn't want to allow a satellite dish here, but fortunately, smaller dishes became available after they moved here.
