Clarkes Landing Restaurant,: Summer Dining on Cuckold Creek

When we had our boat over in Blackstone Marina, and we came in from a sail or after we'd been down working on the boat all day, we would sometimes go to this restaurant to eat. It has a pier, so you can come to eat by boat, but I'm not sure our boat is a shallow enough draft. There is also a boat ramp next to the restaurant.

It has changed hands several times over the years. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes not.

The restaurant looks east over the creek. When we came back to the marina, we looked for the big tank painted with a crab on it.

Favorite Dish: I saw their advertisement on the local weather channel, so we went back for our night out. This restaurant has become a very expensive one. They gave us cheese and crackers to start. I had the special (swordfish steak), steamed zuchini and a salad, and Bob had the scallops. We drank iced tea, and I also had a wonderful creme brulee for dessert. Our bill without a tip was $49.30

My swordfish steak was very good, but it was served on a plastic plate, and the iced tea was in plastic glasses.
