Invasive species - non native mute swans

Cuckold Creek is a small tributary off the Patuxent. It is reached by land by going down Blackistone Road. At the end of Blackistone road is Blackstone (no 'i') marina. We kept our boat in Blackstone Marina for the first year. These mute swans with a half grown cynet visited around the boat. The swans look beautiful, but they are a non-native species which are pushing out the native swans plus they are denuding the Bay of native grasses and contributing to the crappage pollution.

Reflections

In the community of Clark's Landing are a couple of marinas and a restaurant and that's about it.
