For about 10 years - ending June 2000, we lived during the week in this little house just south of Baltimore in Anne Arundel Co. When we bought it, it had asbestos siding like it is in this picture. We installed vinyl siding, and I painted the black plastic shutters so it looked like the top picture.

We commuted back and forth to the Leonardtown house every weekend - driving down on Friday evening, and coming back on Sunday morning. Eating dinner on the way down Friday and lunch on the way up Sunday.

The BEACON Car (Beasley Conversion)

The top picture also has our cars in it - we drove back and forth most of the time in the grey car. My work car was the brown car, but my husband's work car was the BEACON. The BEACON was formerly a Ford Escort diesel that my husband converted to be an electric car. The conversion cost him about $5,000.00 including buying the car, and he drove it to work for 5 years.
