Harbor Cove Restaurant: Harbortown Marina's restaurant

The Harbor Cove Restaurant offers waterfront dining on three sides. Open for lunch 11-3, dinner 4-9 weekdays and 4-10 weekends. Daily early bird and happy hour 4-6 p.m.

Dock address is Mile Marker 184. When you dock, they're only ten feet away. Formerly the Harbortown Fish House Restaurant you can expect solid seafood, well prepared, reasonably priced and cheerfully served

Licensed for package sales to boaters. Plans are underway to use VHA radio for nearby boaters to order food and beverage.
Clear international customs by phone (particularly useful for boaters going to Bahamas).

Favorite Dish: The early bird specials were very good and our bill was only $27.22 for two. Early bird specials are limited - two are pictured - steak and crab cake. Dessert was included in the price.

When we were here in 2011, they had a fixed price dinner which was $13.95, but it was too much for us to eat because it included an entree, vegetable, salad and dessert, , so we just had the regular menu. Bob had a dozen raw oysters and peel and eat shrimp and I had
coconut shrimp and we each had an ice cream parfait.

Directions: Turn off North Beach Causeway, A1A, just east of U.S. Highway 1, to reach Harbortown Marina, on the approach to North Hutchinson Island. Turn into the marina entrance and wind your way around following the signs for the restaurant.

Bonna's Cafe: Breakfast or Lunch in the Marina

In addition to the Harbor Cove restaurant, there was a deli on the marina grounds which was called Harbortown Deli. We went over there for lunch the first time we went to this marina.

Later it changed the name to Bonna's Cafe. We have not been there after this first time because the guys at the marina were not very enthusiastic about it. Besides which it only has breakfast and lunch.

Original Tiki & Restaurant: On The Water

There are two tiki places right next to each other and right next to the Ft. Pierce Municipal Marana.

A review of this one on the internet says:
"Big hype about the burgers,..beefs ok,fries are average,makes you yearn for meatloaf."

But it was the closest, and so we ate there -it was a bit noisy and very lively.

Favorite Dish: Dinner for two was $31.55 but we were almost too tired to eat. We were VERY thirsty and drank a lot of water and iced tea.

Bob had a chicken basket, iced tea and Key Lime pie, and I had a seafood basket, lemonade and a chocolate desert.

Dino's Family Restaurant: Four Handicapped Spaces

Almost everyone at Dinos was in the blue haired set. They have 4 handicapped parking slots, and they need them all. I doubt if there was more than about 4 people in the whole place that were younger than we are.

Dinos has very cheap but plain food. They have a long list of 'specials' and italian dinners, seafood, salads, and bbq. About the fanciest thing on the menu is chicken cordon bleu.

I asked the cashier when we left where all these people came from, and she said trailer parks. (They don't take credit cards - only cash)

Favorite Dish: I had baked chicken, cole slaw, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and I told them light on the gravy so it came in a separate dish ($6.25). Bob had turkey and dressing and cranberry sauce and a baked potato ($6.55). Bob had apple pie and I had lemon meringue ($1.75) for dessert.

There are actually two Tiki restaurants right next to each other.

The Tiki Bar and Grill (or Mana Tiki) was a few steps farther from the marina, and that was steps we just were too tired to take. So we ate at the Original Tiki

Bob walks over to this shopping center to go to West Marine. He's never been to this restaurant, but it was recommended for breakfast and lunch by the folks at the marina. It is local and not a chain

This is a restaurant that apparently has regular art/music events.
