Our friend's CSY Starbird

We were going to anchor off a friend's house just north of ICW marker 85 (SM 903) which is just south of Footman's Landing (probably really has a Merritt Island address). He has a CSY also. He gave us explicit directions. We anchored after 24.5 miles at 5.7 mph by 2:21 for 944 nautical miles. His boat is moored there. You could anchor anywhere off the ICW along here probably.

We visited with our friend Bill and he looked at our boat and we looked at his. I called an internet friend, but it would be dark before she could get there and I didn't want to dinghy in after dark.

CSY Rainbow's End

We were going to try to get to Vero Beach tonight, but think it is too far, plus we need ice. We pull the anchor and say goodbye to our friend on the radio. As we were pulling out, I heard someone calling CSY IMPULSE - it was CSY RAINBOW'S END. I called him, and they were anchored south of the Eau Galle bridge at SM 914.5.

We came up to them and anchored about 10, and visited them about 2 hours on our boat. They came to us as they had just put all the cushions out to air on the boat. Cindy has just had two cataract operations. She said she couldn't see at all, and Bill had to do all the steering on the way down. She said she was shocked at the dirt on the boat now that she could see again. Since we spent so much time with them, and we did need ice, we decided to go to Melbourne Marina next.
