We moved from Warrenton to Avalon Beach in December 1959 when Bob was transferred from the main NAS Training facility to Whiting Field in Milton FL. We rented a house from December to May or June and moved ourselves, except that we rented a truck to move the piano. The house was on a small creek or arm of the bay and there was a little bridge over the creek and an office where I picked up my mail.

We attempted to find the house in December 2005, but unlike the house we rented in Jeanerette Louisiana from June to December 1960, which we found in December 2004, we could not see anything that was currently in Avalon Beach that we recognized.
