The smallest city geographically in the state, what I remember most about New London is that it was where Conn. College for Women was located. This is a photo of the New London Harbor Lighthouse which is posted that Photography is Forbidden.

N. L. Harbor Lighthouse built in 1801 The original1760, lighthouse was the fourth lighthouse to be built in America. On private property but can be viewed. About 3.5 miles from downtown.
