I wanted to stop somewhere for lunch, and I saw an advertisement for Priester's Pecans so I hoped they would have a restaurant in addition to just a retail store where I thought I might be able to buy pralines. So I told Bob to stop at the Fort Deposit exit. He totally did not see the pecan store which was right by the interstate and blew through Fort Deposit in about 1 minute flat. There wasn't much too it, to be frank. There was a gas station with a Subway in it, and Tracy and Jay's Homecooking, where we eventually stopped for lunch and Wisteria Cottage (above) which I don't know what it is. We stopped at Tracy and Jay's even though it said it was closed. Never did get to the Priester's Pecans.
