Dowling's Shell station
This Shell station which was right by the cruise ship dock had a sign which said "Marine & Auto". But what really attracted my attention was the dinghy in the garage bay.
As we walked across the road, we saw a big sailboat with dark blue topsides getting fuel, and apparently this place is one where you take on fuel and water before leaving Bermuda.
Equipment: Their site says they sell Diesel, Oil, Water, Ice Cubes, Moped Gas, Auto Gas and Fishing Supplies

Golf course from Ft. St. Catherine
Links-type course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and has ocean views on every hole. The government-run course is very windy.
St. George’s is among the shortest courses on the island, playing a mere par-62, 4,043 yards. The signature hole is the 326 yard, par-4 14th; a dogleg hooking around Coot Pond. A helpful wind tempts many brave swingers to forego the fairway and head straight for the green. The ominous Fort St. Catherine, which was built to protect Bermuda from the Spaniards in the 17th century guards the 15th.
Equipment: Fully stocked pro shop and locker facilities. Restaurant and lounge available. There is a putting green and practice hole.
18 holes costs $60 with reduced rates after 3 p.m. in summer and 1 p.m. in the winter. Use of golf carts ($52) is mandatory on weekends and public holidays. Pull carts can be rented for $8. A half-hour lesson from St. George’s resident professional, Rawn Rabain can be arranged for $50.
Proper golf attire and soft-spiked golf shoes are mandatory. As with the other government-run courses, Ocean View and Port Royal, reservations can be arranged through an automated reservation system
Address: No. 1 Park Road at Discovery Point
Directions: On the eastern tip of the island, with Fort St. Catherine on the north east of the backside, Fort George left of the second fairway and the Gun Powder Tavern across from the thirteenth tee.

Boats tied to the wall in St. George
The other way to moor a boat where there are no slips is to tie the side of the boat to the shore like this.
Sometimes if there's not enough wall or dock space, the boats are tied together lengthwise. This is called rafting and is also sometimes done on moorings or at anchor. In the case of rafting at a face dock, the crew of the outside boat have to climb over the inside boat to get ashore.
Equipment: Good sturdy docklines with appropriate chafing gear

Sailboats med-moored along the waterfront
There are several small marinas and mooring areas in Bermuda, and that includes St. George. These boats are in a med-moor situation. This is the way marinas in the Mediterranean maximize the useage of dock or bulkhead space. Each boat drops an anchor off the bow and backs the stern up to the wall. There's no slip to tie up to.
Equipment: Good anchor and rode.
