Chub Cay Marina

Chub Cay lies to the east of Bimini and only 35 miles from Nassau. Departing Northwest Channel Light en route to Nassau, travel 14.8 nautical miles to a point just south of Mamma Rhoda Rock, which lies immediately west of Chub Point Light. Then proceed north between the two, being careful to avoid the reef south of Mamma Rhoda Rock, into Chub Cay Marina.

Equipment: Chub Cay says they have a full-service marina.

Dock rates were $1.35/ft for the first 30 days, dropping to $1/ft for up to 60 days, and after that 60 cents/ft. All plus 8%. Cable TV is free contrary to the brochure, if your cable will reach. RO Water is 35 cents/gal, and electric is 35 cents/Kwh, but I had trouble reading the meter, so they charged us $5/day. There is an internet connection, for which they charge $3/min, and you call long distance to the states. Laundry (2 washers, 1 dryer) $3 per wash and $3 per dry-coins from marina. A lot of the phones didn't work. There are only 2 toilets on the transient side. Unless you are at the members docks or on a face dock, (which we were), there are no finger piers and you have to get off of the boat over the bow or stern. Since we were at a face dock meant for big boats, there was only 50 amp, and no splitters (or only one which was in use).
