Winn-Dixie #31- Bahamas Division (Freeport): Groceries

There is a Winn Dixie in
* Freeport (#31)and there is one at
* Eight Mile Rock (where-ever that is), and on
* Seahorse Road which is near Lucaya in the Lucaya Shopping Center (not in the Marketplace). The one on Seahorse Road will deliver to the boat if you get more than $100.00 of groceries per the ad in the picture.

There is also another grocery story right next to the Winn Dixie in Freeport but we felt the Winn Dixie was better. I can't remember the name of it.

The Winn Dixie in Freeport is right at the terminus of the jitney bus line. The Jitney bus is cheap - it is not necessary to get an expensive taxi to go to the grocery store.

What to buy: You will find most of the kinds of things that you find in any grocery store. The groceries are a little more expensive than in the States, but not out of line considering that almost everything has to be shipped in and duty paid on it.
