Marrakesh Hotel Tips by Bigjones

Very nice little hotel near Djema El Fna. It looks like a small riad and from the terrace on top, you have a magnificient view on Djema El Fna. The rooms are simple but clean. Some have a private bathroom with hot water.
They close the door at midnight but if you plan to come back later, you can ask the guy at the reception desk. He accepted to open the door for us later during the night in exchange for a coffee ;-)

Unique Qualities: Very cheap : 150 Dh for a 3-bed-room with private bathroom (and hot water !) (= about 12 USD)
Very nice people at the reception desk.
Very quiet even if it's close to the Koutoubia.

We didn't stay in that hotel so I can't tell you what I think of it. We only went there once while looking for food. But we never reached the buffet because we first saw the desk of the travel agency Sahara Expeditions that was proposing exactly the trip we were looking for at a discounted price.
I just wanted to mention this hotel for that. It offers a lot of facilities to backpackers (organized trips, restaurant, bike renting, internet, etc.). So if you need help or information while in Marrakesh, this address can be useful.
