As a kid, globes and maps made me dream and they still do. When I was 10 I found my grandpa's pre 1917 atlas wich contained maps of weird countries like Kyrgyzia, French Indochine and Belgian Congo . Since my name is not Paris Hilton unfortunately I have to work to make a living but whenever I make a few bucks I spend them at my local airline company.
Travelling is the way lazy people convince the others they have been doing a lot, to realise people make the same mistakes everywhere and over again. That to know your name comes in handy when checking in at your hotel and to remember the name of your hotel is an asset when returning home at night after a bottle of red wine. That laundry service is just another word for fit to shrink beyond imagination, that street sellars around the world want to know where you come from and what's your name and without any doubt keep record of this valuable information. That airports are boring but that being kicked out of an airport at night in january is not only boring but also very cold when you're 40km away from the nearest town. But most of all to travel is to find out the friends you travel with are great and can almost survive your company without psychotherapy.

Borders are imaginary lines, drawn by politicians to prevent people from travelling and moving freely , refugees from finding refuge, poor people from finding a better place to live. And if we can't abolish borders let's at least abolish visa so people can meet eachother in their own countries and find out for themselves that essentially it's the same all over and there is no reason to pretent we're better then the others. If only to find out they sell that terrible Heineken everywhere.
