I've been to Granada twice, each time only to visit its famous Alhambra. Each time in the middle of a sweltering summer where there was no escape from the relentless heat. If you must visit in July and August, bring a hat, suncream and plenty of water!
My pictures of the Alhambra itself (the palace) are in storage, but here are 3 of my favourite photos of the Generalife, or gardens.
It's easy to wander around the Generalife, but if you want a ticket to see the Alhambra (I think they're allotted time slots) then it's imperative to arrive early, as they sell out very fast especially in peak tourist season.
