"greek at heart" Chios by annrose

After many years of Greek travel and the coming of the tourist in full flight this is about a small village on the island of Chios, Volissos. No flashing dicso lights here, just real people living life as it has always been. A small village tumbles down the side of a hill from a fortress to a people watching village square. Old stone houses dominate the village many lovingly restored and some for rent. There is also a harbour 2 mls away to watch the sun go down and have a few drinks with the locals.We love the place so much we are now restoring a tradional village house which is now our own. This is our dream !
