"Knoxville Nationals, Knoxville, Iowa USA" Knoxville by akwindsong

My husband, my brother, and I went to the Knoxville Nationals (sprint car races) for the first time. We had a blast. We slept in a tent at the Red Rock Campground, a couple miles away from Knoxville. It was very hot so it wasn't very nice weather for sleeping in a tent but it was quiet compared to if we would have stayed in a hotel or in Knoxville.
During the day there isn't much to do because Knoxville is a really small town, but there is the Sprint Car Museum. You can drive to Des Moines if you get really bored.
We didn't get to go this year, but we are planning on going again next year. We feel the need for speed.
- Pros:Awesome Racing
- Cons:Not much to do during the day.
- In a nutshell:A Must for Sprint Car Racing Enthusiasts
