Thunder Mountain Brunch at Midnight. :)

Juneau, Alaska, Home to Bears with Bad Habits

I think bears are cute, but when they get into garbage it not so cute. The mama bear is teaching her cubs to eat garbaged. These bears might end up in a relocation to the wild, but they end up back to the garbage. Or worse, the bears may end up dead.

Sport Fishing in Juneau, Alaska

There is sport-fishing opportunities throughout the year in this part of Southeast Alaska, yet the best fishing is April - October. Pictured are some local anglers fishing for King Salmon in May. The day was windy, and their little raft was rockin' and rollin' in the currents. Although a King Salmon is well worth it!

Auke Bay, Alaska

The City and Borough of Juneau is actually Juneau, Douglas, and Auke Bay. This picture was taken on the University of Alaska's dock in the early summer.
