Family visit to Blue Cloud Yes, Blue Cloud may be on Google Maps, but chances are most people will never see it (private property). Me and my family are a friendly artist group living in the mountains outside Helena. Myself, I do mediocre computer art in GIMP and Photoshop. My baby's mama's family does pottery, stone carving, pipe making, stained glass, et cetera.
The purpose of my trip was to meet my father-in-law, friends of the family - all Helena locals. I feel more at home in Blue Cloud than where I currently live in Lacey, WA with my girlfriend and future baby. Next Summer myself, my girlfriend Jordan and the baby are returning to build a log cabin in an aspen groove on the family property.
We are "off the grid", meaning no public utilities. However we have the sun and wind to acquire power for lights, charging cell phones, computers, tv , power tools and more. I am installing a medium DC sized solar panel system to cover our needs - so crank the iTunes! We can get the Internet with Verizon Wireless Internet, or a satellite. Cell service is fine in certain areas - like hilltops.
This is a new experience in green living and self sustainability! |
| | My Aunt and Uncle Tudor Visit Juneau! My only family to visit me in Alaska came June of 2002! We did not have a long time to visit, but I am glad we could see each other. They came on a cruise ship to Juneau, which is a transportation mode many visitors to Alaska use. Thank you Aunt and Uncle Tudor. :) |
Summer Hiking in Juneau Summer 2002, I hiked the East and West Mendenhall Glacier trails. This picture is a Photoshop job of the trail end at a vibrant stream on the west trail.
| | In route to Brasil I have been to Mexico many times, and on my last trip I went to the Caribe de Mexico and loved it there! Although I have never been to Brasil. Going to see Bebel Gilberto in concert in San Diego, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. Ergo, if I cannot make it to the land of Bossa Nova, caprihanas, and garotas de Ipanema, Bossa Nova is coming to my locations in the northern hemis. |
Me At Age 1 Oh, I had to include a picture of me as a baby! :) I was borne in Olympia, WA, after my parents moved from Los Angeles.
