Praterwien

Our 5th Visit This Year

We're getting to know the city fairly well and have found some lovely out of the way places. Of course all the palaces are must see, as well as the Stallions, the concerts, the cathedrals, the Ringstrasse and the Kartnerstrasse. But also lovely is an area called the Grinzing, which can be reached by tram. There is also a permanent amusement park , the Praterwien, which is fun and full of families but few tourists. It is amazing to me to see children playing safely in the evenings, largely unsupervised. Very low crime rate.
