As Palamos was the first place I made vacations outside of Belgium (in 1987), it always stayed in my mind. And as you can see on the date of our last trip - we went back very often and surely will go back again ! :-)

If you ever get the possibility to make some vacations at the Costa Brava, you should take the time to visit Palamos. It hasn't only great beaches, but as well nice restaurants with special fish dishes,...
It worth a visit !!

Here is a post card with several views of Palamos.

The first is the taken from the old harbour.

The second shows the beach called "La Fosca". It's only a little beach with almost no tourists, Spanish people themselves come here for their summer vacations. Taking your car from Palamos city, you've only to drive about 10 minutes to reach it.

The third picture is as well taken at "la Fosca" beach.

The forth one is taken from the promenade. You can see the city with the old church.
