Venice is for Lovers..... I have been in Venice 2 times, first time was back in 1995 when I was still single, this was such a beautiful and romantic place I just had to go back again someday with somebody special. Well, I did! and this time with my husband, Dan in 2001. Venice is a such an enchanting place. So much history and beautiful architecture! Even the pigeons didnt bother me!
The first time I was in Venice it was the month of May, and it was prime tourist season! You can barely walk without walking into someone. It was packed! The second time we went it was December, about Christmastime and there were still a lot of people but almost about 75% less than what I saw the first time. Oh it was lovely! Just make sure you wear warm clothes and maybe bring an umbrella. |
