At the end of January we went with Inghams to the village of Levi 200 kilometres into the Arctic Circle.
The town is reached by flying to Kitila then a 15 minute transfer.
As well as a great place for beginner and intermediate skiers there are many things off the slopes to keep you amused.

|  | The Ice Hotel We did a tour to the Ice Hotel which is actually in Sweden, but is still considered part of Lapland. We went by coach from Finland to Sweden but there doesn't seem to be any kind of border crossing or immigration officials at all.
