A crazy old building with little protection for many of the amazing artifacts housed here. The obvious main attraction, but overcrowded with tourists, is the famous mask of Tutankhamon.

Although not as famous as the great pyramids of Geiza, the pyramids here are very nice and give a good chance to walk around and admire them without the huge crowds. You can go inside some of the smaller tombs, which allows you inside a large pyramid without the mass crowds at Geiza.
