Maps in colour, maps of the world, detail maps of small villages, old maps, new maps,... Every place on it is somewhere on this planet, put in one country or another.
Every nation has its own people(s), mentality, bureaucracy, highlights,... and after all, the world still is what people make of it. Therefore one needs to visit these places! Even how artificial a country can be, it has its own style.
On these pages I'll try to give an overview of my effort to visit every country in the world, in an original and independent way. Still a (very) long way to go however.
I hope to add some pictures in the future, after my next journey, from Bangkok to Singapore via Hanoi!

Sofar my travelling has been limited to Europe and, of course, AFRICA! Really an underestimated part of the world with so much to offer but which consistently gets a bad press ... and it is partly their fault as well.
But what a delight it is to eat a delicious grilled fish with a fried plantain in Cameroon, or to see the citylife in Nairobi while reading the daily Nation and drinking a Tusker, baridi! Not to mention the never-ending streetside conversations in Senegal, discussing political topics on a dusty but unforgettable busride in Mali or simply lazing on the beach, under coconut trees near ancient forts in Ghana!
