I think Slovenia is one of my favourite country. It is very green -I think half of its ttl area covered in forest. Slovenians are really nice and heplful. English is widely spoken here, especially in Ljubljana. In fact Slovenia is a nation of polyglots, with most people speaking at least 3 languages...Slovenia is largely ignored by travelers, which is great shame as I though it was fantastic.. Cost of local products is modertately cheap, and it is inexpensive to eat the local food.
Ljuljana: The smallest capital on the mainland Europe, it is colourful and vibrant and easy to navigate..and the city is set in a valley surrounded by number of mountains and it contains of buildings with a great architecture.. At nights, there are some wonderful pubs to visit, I think the night life in Slovenia is ok, even tough it was weekday when I was there ,all the pubs were packed..and the locals are nice, willing to practice their English.. |
