For most of us, myself included until recently, Vietnam conjures up pictures of war and devastation. one might think that the people would be bitter from almost half a century of war. None of this is true. |
|  | The city is beautiful. and small enough to emerse yourself in the culture,history, and beauty. Temples and architecture of the past dot the cityscape. the streets are alive and bustling with activity, yet no matter what the time of day you will never feel threatened or in any danger. The people are some of the most hospitable and truly friendly people I've met. |
