I will dedicate this page to the fascinating Gunung Bromo & Semeru area called Tengger Massif.

The visit to and trekking we did in the area of Gunung Bromo was really one of my Indonesia highlights.

If you like hiking I would strongly recommend to go off the tourist platforms, make your way through the sand sea and explore all these weird, unearthly and stunning landscapes that certainly is more than Mount Bromo only....

During my trip to Bali, I managed to climb Mount Batok which was quite an interesting climb for me, but seeing your pictures of Mount Bromo, I just have to go there too! ... Wonderful!
