Alaska was a last minute trip, we were to go and vacation in Italy but news about the foot and mouth disease in Europe was something that we thought was not a good idea, so we detour and made arangement for 2 weeks in Alaska USA. I'm glad we did, I learn so much about myself on this trip...about who I am as a Native American (Navajo). My ancestors immigrated little more a 1000 years ago from Alaska.

In all the Great cities I visited, I always come across a bronze statue...here in this vast charted region a lone dog is erected in honor of him for saving the inhabitants of this city. The hero's name is Balto.
My niece is allergic to cats and DOGS, so it a treat for her to get near a animal like this and pretend that it's real...she'll pat as if it were a real living ad breathing dog. Don't mind her uncle it's always good to invite someone you can enjoy and makes you laugh.

This is what I first saw and I was at AWE. You read about it, or see pictures of her, but to see it at this altitude it was surely breathtaking and worth the $$$$$ it took to come. No regrets.
