The Buckskin that the Chief is wearing is what the Navajo people use to wear before the Spaniard enter the Americas. During Pres. Abaham Lincoln in 1864 under the order of this President we were rounded up and march to a place in New Mexico called Fort Sumer where many of my people die of disease, starvation, and the weather condition at the time....After leaving in 1868 Cloth was given to us to start a whole new way of life so what you see me and Donovan wearing is what we wear today. |
