The Tourist Bureau is also a wonderful Museum, which was established in March 1987 by the Perenjori Museum Committee.
The Bureau/Museum was once the Bank of New South Wales. Each room in the Manager's residence is furnished with memorabilia thanks to Locals, who have Loaned goods from the past.
It was relocated at Perenjori in late 1929. and still houses the safe with it's hefty door.
Souvenirs mostly hand crafted by the locals and Devonshire Teas are also available.
People world wide, come to see this amazing plant that only grows in certain gravel!
Normally found on the side of a road - their only enemies are the Graders, that come along and regrade the verge where they live!
Perenjori region is also abundant with Wildflowers, ranging from Everlastings, Paper Daisies and Native Hibiscus!
From early August, through to October, there is a show of different plants each week.
