    Fresh meat is available in town market daily. As far as I noticed, the market closes at about 4 or 5 PM so bear that in mind. I'm semivegetarian so there's not much I can tell about the quality and selection of meat offered in those stalls. Just have a look - can this be bad meat? I don't think so...

    Every time I visit Chania I go to town market to tase delicious local seafood specials in one of those shops.

    Here you can either buy fresh fish or ready meal. Food is also served on the spot. Should you wish to get yourstlf the freshest seafood in Crete

     The restaurant's name is KAFENEIO and the owner's name is Petros. The street is one street east of Theotokopouloou street, probably Angelou street or between those two. Food is really good. Ciao Jawnuta
