    • Very nice hotel on the suburbs of Kissamos. It was opened in 2002 so it's fresh :)

    I liked the large rooms, nicely furnished, clean and cozy. I also admired hospitable atmosphere and friendly approach of the family who runs the hotel.

    Unique Qualities: The hotel offers a fine pool, 2/3 rooms have balconies with seaview, all rooms are equipped with small fridges (free of charge) and cable tv (also free of charge). You can rent a safe deposit box in your room for EUR 15 per week or EUR 25 for two weeks.

    Although the building is not tall, lift is available, which is quite important after a trip to Gorge of Samaria ;))

    You'll enjoy a nice drink in a pool bar or lobby bar.

    • Mithimna is a popular and well renowned campground. It is relatively well equipped. You will find a shop and a tavern there. It is 5 km from Kissamos, right at the seaside. As far as I know it's quite secure.

     Kissamos sounds like a nice holiday retreat, thanks for introducing it to me. It's high time I headed for Greece... maybe this year ;-)
