One Big University ;-)

by gale.blog.pl - last update: May 8, 2003

Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece. I liked it much more than Athens. Maybe that’s because the city is full of young people, mostly university students.

It’s fun to see objects of historical architecture surrounded by more or less successful modern architecture. Here’s a typical view of Thessaloniki.

Good tips and very good pictures. I had great time in Thessaloniki (with one lady long time ago) although unfortunatelly we almost didn't see the city itself haha.

Adam, I like this page very much. The Rotunda reminds me something... :) When and where exactly to the next trip?

I m glad u liked Thess@, it's for sure more charming than today's Athens. But "successful modern archtecture" would not be my words to describe its looks...
