"Temples Galore!" Angkor Wat by Etoile2B

Angkor Wat Travel Guide: 1,952 reviews and 4,626 photos

I will be building my Angkor Wat intro page soon, but I just wanted to mention that my Angkor Wat tips can also be found on my Siem Reap page because I believe the two places are mutually exclusive. Although the information is the same I have tried to vary the pictures (in most but not all) with the tips to provide more perspective and simply because we took so many pictures! But at a site like Angkor can you blame us? Enjoy!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Breathtaking scenery and the chance to feel like Indiana Jones!
  • Cons:So many, many tourists and the hot, hot sun.
  • Last visit to Angkor Wat: Feb 2007

Nowadays, You can instantly have your photo taken when you buy your pass, at no extra charge. There's no need to have a passport-sized photo, although I'm sure it would still be helpful.
