    • This gallery only 6 or 7 blocks north of the core of downtown is housed in the same building as the museum. They have an excellent collection of their own and also feature numerous regional artists from time to time. When I went in a local artist was showcased in the Sumer project that just took my mind into another dimension. Admission is free. hours are 9am to 5pm M-Sat. and 1pm to 5pm on Sunday.

    • The museum is housed in the same building as the gallery. They have a replica of the workshop of Robert Goddard - the pioneer of liquid rocketry. It was the marriage of Goddard's technology and what was learned from captured German V-2 rockets that really gave a boost to the American Space Program. Here you can see the actual Rockets built and launched by Goddard. Also here is a space suit worn by a Roswell resident who flew on an Apollo mission.

     I somehow think you saw much more than me on your Roswell vacation... I suppose I was so starstruck with aliens I couldn't see past the saucers and crash sites... :O)
