I cannot say that 'I saw the world', because is not true. But, thanks to my brother and my sister-in-law I left Romania to see other parts of the Europe. It was one of my dreams come true, actually. In Italy I discovered that my brother kept a quite vast library containing the same info's I am interested in. I've discovered that, in a way, he too is a wonderer. He actually saw, trough the books, the history of Europe. And I... the present of a small part of it. Looking at he’s library made me understand that THAT is virtualtourist.com. Is a way of saying “WE WERE THERE” and, after a thousand years, when maybe many of the cities were no more, the scholars of the future will learn about a London, a Cairo, a Beijing or Hong-Kong from you and me, the wonderers of the past.
I don’t want to sound melodramatic but VT is, in my view, a point of reference for the future, and we have a duty to inform the people to be NOT only about the places we’ve seen, but about the way of life of the peoples we’ve met. Don’t you think so?

I tryed to post some helpfull infos...if i didn't do it right, please let me know, and post your indication. Being brand new on VT, i might have done some mistakes!
