City center and main city malls.: Shopping and entertainment in Valencia.

The Southern part of the city center ("calle Colón, Poeta Querol, Don Juan de Austria, Játiva, San Vicente, plaza San Agustín, Pintor Sorolla" , and surrounding area, is the traditional and old shopping area in Valencia, before malls spotted around the city.
The main malls with stores, restaurants and cinemas are:
Centro Comercial El Saler: very near Ciutat de les Arts i Les Ciències.
Heron City (near Paterna): Some kms NW from the city taking Ademuz Highway, very beautiful, with street amusement, recommended for all ages. It includes Kinepolis, a great facility for cinemas with an impressive hall.
Centro Comercial Bonaire (near Aldaia): the biggest in the city, very beautiful too and it includes night bars for young people and nice Warner theatres for movies.
Nuevo Centro (neighborhood of Campanar): the oldest mall and very traditional.
Centro Comercial Gran Turia (neighborhood of Fontsanta): It's SW of the city, beside the new riverbed.
Centro Comercial Alfafar (Alfafar, pista de Silla): very large.

What to buy: In the city center area, you will find nearly everything, from cheap to expensive. Most luxury shops are along Poeta Querol. And the main street is without a doubt, "calle Colón", the most commercial street in Valencia.
