Valencia is not as known as Barcelona or Madrid. But it's being rediscovered now. It has a population of nearly 800,000 people. Moreover, as the city is surrounded by many towns, the metropolitan area raises its population up to 1,500,000 people. And all the population of the Valencian Community is about 4,000,000 people.
It's a prosperous and dynamic area inside Spain. With important industry, tourism and services. And even a fertile land for agriculture.
The important impulse the city has achieved in the last years has resulted in an increasing tourism and the important restoration of old buildings, tidying up of the whole city, and the new modern buildings in different districts, have made the city to become an important tourism focus.
But this is just the beginning. Valencia has many projects still in construction or about to be executed.
As the title tells, Valencia is a very good choice.
- Pros:One of the most beautiful cities, with great weather.
- Cons:The subway is not extensive enough. Just a few years more.
- In a nutshell:Good weather, good people, fascinating culture and traditions, and exciting nights.

Hi! lately we were Valencia and we like the place. We are planning for a revisit and hope to see more. We love the Riverbed of Turia. For sure we will take the same hotel near this garden. Thank you for sharing all these tips. regards
