Costa Calma Beach

The beach of Costa Calma is pretty, but not all that.

The town is quite nice, but not very big, so for a family holiday I dont think its good.

For a quite relaxing holiday, its OK. You must think about getting about though, so I recommend that if you are staying here, you should get car hire.

Jania Beach

Jandia has some fabulous beaches. But you will need to get a lift or a car to get to some of the best spots.

There is a good long stretch of beach near to town though. But I woulndt recommend it for small children, as it shelves off pretty quickly.

Beach at El Cotillo

This beach has to be the nicest beach on the Island. Its small, and so is the town. So not good for a holiday for two weeks.

Having said that, the other side of town is where you will find all the surfers.

You can view them from the cliffs.

Lifes a beach

Jandia

At the bottom end of the Island is Jandia, it has some absolutely fantastic beaches. The best beaches are just before you hit the town, you will have to go down a few tracks to reach them, but well worth it. I didn’t like the town very much, it was a bit stuck up for me.
