This trip was quite a mess but it wasn't so bad. I took a ferry from Shanghai to Putuoshan and was supposed to go back the other day but there was storm so the ferry didn't leave. I had to choose a different way which went to Ningbo. I ended up having a dinner at Hangzhou...wish I could have known this earlier because I have a friend there that I wanna meet.

The boat leaves Shanghai around 9.15am, it takes 2 hours and 30 mins to Putuoshan. There is an RMB60 general admission... more travel advice

I've always wanted to see Putuoshan! I hope I can visit sometime soon, it looks like such a great place!
