| Yes It snows in California (Jan 2002) |
Located in the foothills less than 25 miles East of Sacramento. Over looking the Sacramento valley, at an elevation of 1,000-1,500ft. The summer temperatures are slightly cooler than the valley and so perfect, it is just above the valley fog & smog and below the Sierra's heavy snow fall in the winter. Auburn is a heavenly place to live, that's why some people call it Gods Country. |

SteveOSF Wed Jul 8, 2009 17:51 UTC Nice page on Auburn! | angiebabe Thu Dec 18, 2008 05:32 UTC Enjoyed your page and tips here - looks even more beautiful in winter with snow cover! Auburn is a suburb in Sydney that we drive through a lot - and a friend works at Auburn Hospital! but not as pretty as your Auburn here! | TheTravelSlut Fri Oct 31, 2008 21:18 UTC Great tips & photos & you bring lots of great memories back from my long time living in Roseville, Reno & Incline Village and passing thru this area. I've experienced some of your tips too! Cool. Ann, The TravelSlut | pchamlis Wed Apr 21, 2004 01:14 UTC My wife went to college in Auburn, Alabama. Thought I'd check out the left coast Auburn. Very nice. Love all the baby critters and such. Greetings from Florida. |
