The official name is St. Helena and Dependencies -- it s funny we are so small but have two other self governing parts the other two parts of my country are the Island of Ascension and Tristan da Cunha Island group.

I am in my last year at The Prince Andrew Central School and preparing for my A level examinations follow by University in the UK, we have no University in St Helena. My Family the Glass family comes from Tristan da Cunha where they have fished for crawfish and grown potatoes for the past 170 years

It is possible for students like me from Tristan da Cunha to attend courses at the Prince Andrew School. Some of my classmates also come from Ascension Island went to “ Two Boats School” but, come here to Jamestown for a few years to prepare for University.

Far flung and interesting history St Helena intrigues me. One time in my life I hope to get there, it must be a unique place to live for its fortunate isolation.
